I cannot begin to tell you how many memories I have made inside the walls of the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia.  Some of the great bands of our day have traipsed across that stage, I’ve seen some noteworthy performances there, that I will likely never forget.  I just got word and am so sad to hear that the Theatre went up in flames this morning.  I am hopeful they will be able to salvage some of what made that place so damned special; if not, it is a huge loss to those of us that have called Athens home.
