Boombox Saint

Seems that with the latest fundrasing efforts for the Tony Hawk Foundation, Hawk has gone and pulled a Josh Freese.  I already handed it to the robot man for his clever marketing scheme, but I think it’s also proper to tip my hat to the original Mr. Extreme, who is using his big dollar draw to do some good.  As someone who is connected to the non-profit world, I am endlessly impressed by folks who use their celebrity for the benefit of philanthropy - and Hawk certainly qualifies in that category.  I hope the fact that the word seems to be spreading through the unlikliest of channels means the birdman will make some serious cash for the benefit of cube gleamers everwhere.
