I used to be a hippie.  I mean, I used to “cope the pope” and go to drum circles and listen to Phish.  haha  That seems like a million years ago, and I haven’t done any of those things in a long, long time.  I think some of the less obvious “granola” characteristics are still hidden inside me.  I can’t say I listen to much of the jam band/Reggae/roots scene now, but I’d go back for “a visit.”

I edited this piece on Michael Frant & Spearhead (linked above) a bit ago, and seeing it today reminded me that Michael Franti is a dude that seems pretty much on the level.  I like people who have ideas, who do things with gusto.  He seems like someone I’d like a lot.
